TME's customers have already noticed that for some time now we have been adding new categories to our range of automation components. The newest items in our catalogue are pneumatic connectors by Pneumat System – designed with injection moulding in mind. They offer increased resistance to heating and cooling fluids and high throughput with a small footprint. Their key advantage is resistance to glycol, hot water and oil, as well as other substances which are frequently used in injection moulding machines. In the production process, these quick release couplings are mainly used for regulating the mould temperature in order to ensure an efficient flow of coolant or heating fluid.
90° angled connectors
Straight connectors
TME offers Pneumat System quick couplings made of brass (also nickel-plated brass) and galvanised steel. For most products, the maximum operating temperature reaches 180°C and the isolation material is a fluoropolymer (FPM, also known as Viton by DuPond). Thanks to it, the gaskets used in these connectors offer long life and mechanical durability.
